YOUTH FROM 16 AREA AGENCIES WILL BENEFIT FROM SNOWBOARDING PROGRAMS AT NO COST<\/h4>\n

Chill\u2019s positive youth development programs in New York City are back for the 2020 winter season! Beginning in January, local youth will participate in their six-week snowboarding programs at Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ. All associated costs are covered for the participants including transportation, gear, lift tickets, and lessons.<\/p>\n

Chill is a positive youth development program where boardsports become a vehicle for empowerment. Revolving around a core value-driven curriculum, Chill programs consist of experiential learning activities, reflection, and discussion, paired with boardsport lessons. Chill\u2019s six core values provide youth with a foundation and framework for learning and growth, supported and enhanced through on-board progression and adult mentorship.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Chill New York City program is the culmination of years of hard work. We’re incredibly stoked to be back on snow at Mountain Creek in partnership with numerous amazing organizations that serve youth facing challenges,\u201d said Alex Bornstein, Executive Director at Chill. \u201cThe energy and passion in the New York City area for Chill’s work is unparalleled and we can’t wait to see how this program evolves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chill reaches over 2,000 youth annually, with programs in 16 cities throughout North America.<\/p>\n
